Occupational Health & Safety Policy
Australian Project Solutions Pty Ltd is committed to conducting business to protect the health & safety of employees and members of the public. We are also committed to managing our customers’ risks by the implementation and practice of world’s best safety practices.
Australian Project Solutions operates a Company Occupational Health and Safety Management System (Safety Map) that provides for an OH&S plan to be prepared and implemented for each project that is undertaken by the company.
Each OH&S plan will incorporate (but not limited to) the following:
- Identify and reduce the risk of work related injuries and illnesses through pro-actively monitoring work practices and implementing mandatory training for all staff.
- Regularly provide employees with information about hazards and hazard control.
- Induct all new employees to required safe work practices and expected business practices prior to commencing work.
- Investigate all incidents to identify the possible cause and implement preventive actions to minimise the risk of occurrence.
- Through effective supervision, control of physical and chemical hazards in the workplace will be achieved.
- Comply with all relevant health and safety laws and regulations.
- Conduct a compliance audit program to ensure adherence to Company and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular management reviews of safety performance and identify and implement safety improvements.
- Involve and consult employees and customers in identifying workplace safety improvements and interventions.
- Ensure that all sub-contractors follow and comply with Australian Project Solutions’ OH&S requirements.
